Matt Wictome - Director has over thirty years’ experience working in both public sector and a wide range of private-sector health-care Quality organisations. 


Initially a biochemist by training Matt holds a BSc and PhD in Biochemistry from the Universities of Bath and Southampton, U.K. respectively. 


Over the past ten years Matt has been focused on process, organisational and quality improvement activities with a range of health-care companies within Europe and the US operating in stringent regulatory environments.


In 2019 he set up
Datod Consulting Ltd: Winner of Global Health & Pharma Best Medical Device and Project Management Consultancy, 2021 and featured in SME News and GHP News.


Matt holds a
Six Sigma Process Excellence qualification and an advanced lean qualification with the Lean Enterprise Research Centre from the University of Cardiff, a qualification required for the design, implementation, management and support of lean transformational initiatives within organisations.   


In addition, Matt is a certified project and change management leader with a successful track record of leading cross-functional virtual teams to deliver multi-site improvement activities to improve quality, compliance and operational efficiency. 


In addition Matt is an International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) certified ISO13485:2016 Quality System lead auditor.


Matt was awarded an Executive MSc - with Merit- in Strategy, Change and Leadership   from the School of Economics, Finance and Management at the University of Bristol, U.K. through its executive development programme.

Currently Matt is also Global Director for Quality Systems for Trinity Biotech.


Matt’s research interests include the role of Quality functions and Quality Management Systems on business success and also the impact of complexity theory / systems thinking within these environments.
